A little bigger baby belly!

25 Week Belly

Yep it has got bigger! There is a growing baby in there!

24 Week Apt. with a little prize!!!

This weeks appointment was pretty fast. It only took us about 10 minutes. The doctor was everything looked good.
He said the ultrasound pictures form the tech. looked perfect nothing wrong! So that was good. he said I need to get more blood work done in 2 weeks(thyroid and glucose).

The best part of the apt. was when he went to start the ultrasound, he asked Abby who was standing right next to me, if she wanted to hold the wand and see if she could find the baby! She looked at him like are you crazy and then he handed her the wand, put the gel on my belly then told her to move it around and see what we could find. She was so excited. First she found it's little face. Then she was moving it around and we found the little leg. It is laying with it's legs bent at the knee, and it's feet were crossed. When he took the pic it had unfolded its feet, but you can see the foot and leg up to the knee and the 2 little fists next to it. Then she found the heartbeat. He helped he to get a better look and then he measured the heart beat. It was 140 this time.
Then he kind of helped her move it around a bit, and he again found the little girl/boy parts. He asked if we knew what it was, we said no, then he said do you want to know, again we said no. I think it is getting harder every time :) Even with me looking at the same screen, I could not tell what it was.
The doctor started to wipe the gel off my belly and looked at Adrea and said wait do you want a turn to find the baby? She said yes, so he put on more gel and away she went.
She fists found the heart, and we say some more of the legs and arms, then she found the profile, and he took a picture if it for her. Her turn was not as long but she was OK with that. She was excited to get the pictures and see what they found. ( he didn't draw any faces this time :) ) although even if he would have it would be OK because he let them look around.
I thought that was so cool of him. I like him more and more, he is just a good doctor!

22 Week Ultrasound

Here are a few pictures form our 22 week ultrasound! It took about 45 minutes and the whole time this little turkey would not stop moving, she the tech was not able to get a clear profile. Baby was squirmy so it made it harder for her to find everything, haha. It was nice being able to see it for so long but man my bladder was not happy :)
She said baby was all curled up in a ball. In one pic she took the spine almost looked like a C. One of my favorites is the one on bottom right, where babys legs are at its head, it is pretty funny. It has its little feet crossed :)
She told us that baby was a little over a pound, and as far as she could say everything looked good! The due date didn't move at all soooo I am hoping that this baby decided to come a week or so early or I am going to have to schedule the c-section in March. Hoping to miss April this time :)

20 week Dr. Appointment

Tuesday was my 20 week appointment. It went really well. The Dr. measure the baby and told us it weighed 12oz. He said it still looks good!
The girls were out of school for Thanksgiving break so they got to come and watch the ultrasound! They were so excited to get to see their baby! I am so glad the doctor is really cool and explained what things were during. There is one part during that we caught the baby opening its mouth and the doctor said hey look it is talking to you, and he rewound it a few times so it looked like the baby was trying to talk to them. It was sweet! He showed them its little heart beating, and showed them the eyes, nose , and mouth. Then in one part he asked if we wanted to find out the gender and I said no David and I wanted to wait, and the girls all yelled yes we want to know. It was pretty funny!
I hope you all enjoy! We sure do!

(I am having a hard time uploading it, I will keep working on it just check back)

Baby's New Blanket

I have totally fallen in love with all monkey things! So when I saw this blanket I had to have it! hehe
I have decided to not go with the traditional crib set, cause lets be real no one ever uses the blankets that come in them and now "they" have recommended not to use the bumper pads anymore for safety reasons. So, I figured that I am just gong to by some crib sheets that match and use this blanket because I will wrap the baby in this one :)

16 Week Check Up

The upper left is baby laying face down sleeping! Bottom left is same pic but he was measuring the heart beat! Upper right is a profile shot(and once again he is showing where eyes nose and mouth are, just in case you can't figure it out on your own). If you look close you can see a foot on the bottom :) and bottom right is another profile not as great as great as the top but this one is not have drawings on it. And finally in the middle is the start of the ultrasound!

Well here are my ultrasound pictures from my last check up. It went well. We got to see and hear the baby so it couldn't get any better then that. Although the baby was so sound asleep he couldn't get all the measurements he wanted. He was able to get the heart beat, measure the spine, he got one leg, and that was about all. He could not get baby to move to measure arms and legs. He also said the legs we to close together to be able to tell if baby was a girl or boy! Maybe next time, although we have decided to wait and be surprised at birth!
We just have to decide if we are going to do a c-section again or go ahead and try the good ole fashioned way :)
My doctor is a very big supporter of doing v-backs so that is great if we decided to do that. SO as of now his advise was to just say that is what we are leaning towards so that we can get lots of ultrasounds each visit so we can monitor how big baby is. He thinks as along as baby stays small I should be able to, we shall see! But int he mean time it just means lots of ultrasounds so that was cool of him, at least I thought so.

Here is the video of the ultrasound!

Exciting week

Well it has been an exciting week! I am starting to feel a bit better(my cold is almost gone). So I am hoping that once it is gone, all nausea will be gone too!!! fingers crossed!

I also notice that while I was laying in bed over the weekend I am staring to lose my belly button. It does not seem to be as deep as it was! So that is exciting because that means that this baby is growing and I may start to show soon!

Most exciting news for me at least is over the past week I have been able to feel the baby moving. It has mostly been soft little pokes here and there, and the feeling of bubbles moving around. It has been awesome. I am so excited!
I feel bad because I am the only one able to feel anything right now. I wish David and the girls could too, but I guess this gets to be my reward for being sick the past 4 months :)

I go to the doctor next week so I will post updates and any pictures I get:)
(praying he doesn't draw any strange faces on the pictures)

Update

So sorry not much to update now. I have had a cold for the last two weeks so it has made my stomach so much more upset. It has reminded me of how sick I was with the girls. Throwing up all day is no fun. I can't wait until it goes away. Other then that nothing much has changed. I go back to the doc in a few weeks, I will have more blood work done, and an ultrasound. I am not really sure if the doc will tell the gender or not. I am not even sure we are going to find out what it is anyway. I would like to wait but I would also like to be able to prepare, sooo? I guess we'll see.
I will find other stuff to blog about once I am feeling better, here's hoping it is soon!

Week 11 Dr. APPT

Sorry about the drawings, since Adrea was with us, the DR. decided to draw on the eyes and mouth so Adrea would know where they were. Just look past them :) In them you can see the arms and in the top pic you can see the little hand up by the face!

I went to the doctor on Monday for week 11 check up. I was not expecting to get an ultrasound but they gave me one, and we were not going to tell them no :) The nurse moved us to a room with a newer ultrasound machine so that Adrea could see the baby better.(she was home with a fever that day) It was so exciting to see just how much the baby has grown in 4 weeks. We could see the little arms and legs. It's little hands were moving around. It was amazing. It is just so hard to believe how such an amazing little baby is growing so fast. It just makes it so real to see it moving around!
Adrea was so excited to see it. The doctor gave her the pictures of the ultrasound, just for her! She was so happy and she couldn't wait to show Abby when she got home from school.
Other then that the appt. went well, my thyroid levels are almost where they should be so he thinks by the end of this 4 weeks that they will be good. We go back in 5 weeks for more blood work, Yeah. Unfortunately I am going to have to get some blood work done before every visit, but that is OK.
I think we may be able to get an ultrasound every time because we are on the OB floor and not seeing my regular doctor. I hope so anyway!! More updates later.

New Baby Gear

Here is our new car seat and stroller!
Yes we know we still have a while before we need it but, did you know car seats expire?
Yes they do, and our car seat we were saving from Adrea expired last December, so that means new car seat. It just so happens that Babies R Us was have a great sale they we didn't want to pass up. If you traded in old baby stuff(car seat, crib, booster, ect.) you got 25% off a new car seat, stroller...ect. So we went in to get a car seat and decided to get a car seat /stroller combo. Our stroller is really old and I got it used for Adrea so it was time for a new one. We really like this one. It is really lite and folds up pretty compact ,and the car seat fits onto the stroller, so it was the winner, and it can work for boy or girl!

a little update

Well not to much to report for the last two weeks. This is the worst part of pregnancy, for one I am sick all the time so that takes a tole, and don't feel baby moving so it is sometimes hard to believe I am! It is so weird how different this one is then the girls. I am still sick, especially at night, but it is a different sick this time. It is really hard to explain, I was just soooo sick especially with Abby but this one is comes and goes. I will feel ok for a bit and then quickly go down hill. I am very thankful that this time I have been put on some awesome anti-nausea pills. Thanks God for them!!!
I am so lucky to have Abby & Adrea :) around. Abby has helped me out with the dishes and she has kept upstairs cleaned so I don't have to worry about it. She is going to be such a huge help! Adrea likes to help sometimes :)

Other then that not much has changed so nothing new to really report. I have an appointment next week so I will have more to tell then! :)

8 Week Ultrasound

So today we went back to the hospital for the follow up ultrasound. The DR. measured again and confirmed that I in fact was 8 weeks along!!! We got to hear the little heart beat again and it was so strong! It is such an amazing feeling to hear that sound coming from a fetus the size of a blueberry. AMAZING!!! After the new measurements my due date was changed to April 6, 2012 :)! We will see!!!

7 Week Ultrasound

Today I went to my first Dr. appt. We were so excited yet very nervous. The Dr. showed us the little wiggly baby, and then she said she was going to try to find the fetal pole(which after asking, means the heartbeat) at this point I was so nervous and scared, but then she says to us, see that little thing flickering that is it!!!! I of course started to cry. It was the best thing to see. She turned on the sound and for a brief moment that we got to hear it. It was amazing! After all the measurements were done she said she wanted to see us the following week to remeasure and get better idea about the due date, at this point she said April 7. (That was Adrea's due date!)

Happy Daddy!!!

Well tonight I decided I would make David a special dinner to tell him the good news!
I feed the girls an early dinner so I could tell David first! Once they were upstairs watching a movie I put out all the yummy food!
We had:
baby back ribs
baby spinach salad With
baby carrots and baby shrimp(I forgot the baby corn),&
baby fingerling potatoes!
We ate dinner and I could tell David didn't quite get it so I told him I was going to get dessert.
That is when I put a mini Baby Ruth candy bar on the table. He kind of looked at me weird, and I told him it went with the theme of dinner!!!
He got a huge smile on his face and said wait, let me see the test first! He said is couldn't be a goonies theme.
I showed him and he just hugged me! It was great way to celebrate our good news!

Praying for a +

Today I got the first positive on a HPT! Now how to tell David?
